ABOUT THIS ROLE
The warehouse associate is responsible for performing various tasks within the warehouse, ensuring
efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role involves organizing,
receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods while maintaining a safe and clean work
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and store materials efficiently using appropriate storage methods.
• Prepare orders for shipping by picking, packing, and labeling items appropriately.
• Assist in assembling, kitting, or reworking products as required.
• Operate pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and store goods.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Procurement, and NOC staff and communicate effectively to
ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to warehouse procedures and processes, utilize basic functions in WMS
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies during warehouse operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inventory and shipping records.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the Warehouse supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. (60lbs)
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills.
Compensation
- Hourly pay of $18-$20/hour, depending on experience and skillset
